Fire Engineering Co., Inc.’s history began in 1947 when Herman L. Gillett, a young engineer from the Army Corps of Engineers, purchased a franchise in the Viking Sprinkler Co. Originally, fire sprinkler systems were marketed on economic grounds. They would protect life and property, while greatly reducing fire insurance premiums, with the cost of the system regained over time.

We have had a long and distinguished history, with a vast range of projects. We have designed, fabricated and installed over 10,000 different fire systems, since our incorporation in 1960. We have a 35,000 sq. ft., state of the art, fabrication shop capable of producing a large quantity of high quality product to meet ever increasing demands.
